EPS
Encapsulated PostScript
EPS is a vector format from print and design work, often used for logos and illustrations sent to print shops. Most modern apps can't show it without a PostScript interpreter.

Convert EPS files to PDF on Windows 10 and 11: free, offline and in batches. Drag the files onto PDF in Filee's format donut and the PDF files appear next to the originals.
In File Explorer or on the desktop, select one EPS file or as many as you like. The first time, Filee offers to download Ghostscript, the free engine it uses for this conversion.
Hold Ctrl (or the key you set in Filee) and drag the files. A donut of formats opens at the cursor. Prefer menus? Right-click and choose Convert with Filee.
Release the files over PDF. A progress ring counts up, and each PDF file is saved next to its original.
EPS can only be displayed by a PostScript interpreter; Filee uses Ghostscript for that. The PDF keeps the vector artwork, so it opens anywhere and still prints sharply. PostScript (.ps) files work the same way.

PDF document
PDF is the standard for sharing documents that must look the same everywhere: fonts, layout and images are fixed and it opens on any device. That also makes PDFs hard to edit.
