DOCX
Word document
DOCX is the Microsoft Word format since Word 2007 (Office Open XML). It is the most common format for editable documents such as reports, letters and forms.
Extensions: .docx
Convert DOCX files to HWPX on Windows 10 and 11: free, offline and in batches. Drag the files onto HWPX in Filee's format donut and the HWPX files appear next to the originals.
In File Explorer or on the desktop, select one DOCX file or as many as you like.
Hold Ctrl (or the key you set in Filee) and drag the files. A donut of formats opens at the cursor. Prefer menus? Right-click and choose Convert with Filee.
Release the files over HWPX. A progress ring counts up, and each HWPX file is saved next to its original.
Filee's own HWPX writer carries the Word layout over: page size and margins, headers and footers with page numbers, tables with merged cells, borders and shading, text boxes, shapes and pictures. Every file it writes is checked with three independent HWPX readers in the tests.
