HTML to PDF converter

Convert HTML files to PDF on Windows 10 and 11: free, offline and in batches. Drag the files onto PDF in Filee's format donut and the PDF files appear next to the originals.

How to convert HTML to PDF on Windows

  1. 1

    Select your HTML files

In File Explorer or on the desktop, select one HTML file or as many as you like.

  2. 2

    Hold Ctrl and drag

Hold Ctrl (or the key you set in Filee) and drag the files. A donut of formats opens at the cursor. Prefer menus? Right-click and choose Convert with Filee.

  3. 3

    Drop on PDF

Release the files over PDF. A progress ring counts up, and each PDF file is saved next to its original.

What Filee does for HTML → PDF

Save a web page or an HTML report as a PDF that looks the same everywhere and can be archived or printed. Filee converts .html files saved on your PC, and several of them can be merged into one PDF.

  • Built in: works right after installing Filee, with nothing else to download.
  • The merge preset combines all dropped files into one PDF.
  • Batch: one file or hundreds, converted in parallel; a failure never stops the rest.
  • Private: files are converted on your PC and never uploaded, even without internet.
  • Saved next to the original, or in a folder and with a file name pattern you choose.

HTML can also become

  • DOCX
  • HWPX
  • EPUB
  • reStructuredText · Pandoc
  • LaTeX · Pandoc

About HTML and PDF

HTML

Web page (HTML)

HTML is the language of web pages. A saved .html file opens in any browser, but how it looks depends on the browser and on linked styles and images, which may be missing offline.

Extensions: .html .htm .xhtml

PDF

PDF document

PDF is the standard for sharing documents that must look the same everywhere: fonts, layout and images are fixed and it opens on any device. That also makes PDFs hard to edit.

Extensions: .pdf
