JPEG image
JPEG is the most widely used photo format. Its lossy compression keeps files small, but every save at lower quality discards some detail, and it has no transparency.
Extensions: .jpg .jpeg .jpe .jfif
Convert JPG files to SVG on Windows 10 and 11: free, offline and in batches. Drag the files onto SVG in Filee's format donut and the SVG files appear next to the originals.
In File Explorer or on the desktop, select one JPG file or as many as you like.
Hold Ctrl (or the key you set in Filee) and drag the files. A donut of formats opens at the cursor. Prefer menus? Right-click and choose Convert with Filee.
Release the files over SVG. A progress ring counts up, and each SVG file is saved next to its original.
A JPG of a logo or a scanned sketch becomes an SVG that stays sharp at any size, ready for a cutting plotter, a website or a print shop. JPG noise turns into specks, so lower the Detail setting in the preset if the result looks busy.

SVG vector graphic
SVG is an XML-based vector graphics format. Shapes and text stay sharp at any size, which makes it ideal for logos and icons on the web, but many apps and upload forms only accept pixel images.
